Credentials¶
MEGOGO gives you a set of IDs and keys before the integration starts. This page tells what each value is for and how to keep it safe.
What MEGOGO gives you¶
| Value | Example | Used in | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Partner ID | example_operator |
The path of each request | Identifies your company |
| Public key | example_pub |
The end of sign |
Identifies your key pair |
| Private key | 37 characters | The signature | Makes the signature. Never send it in a request |
| Service IDs | example_light_30d |
serviceId |
Identify the subscriptions that you sell |
| Test partner ID, test keys and test service IDs | testprod_ua |
All requests | Tests on the production servers |
MEGOGO makes all these values. You cannot change them. Use the public key that MEGOGO gives you: it can be different from the partner ID.
Service IDs¶
Your MEGOGO manager gives you a service ID for each subscription that you sell. The service sets:
- the MEGOGO subscription, for example "Light" or "Maximum";
- the period, for example 30 days or 24 months;
- the renewal mode. See Subscription lifecycle.
To see the services that MEGOGO configured for your partner ID, send
subscriptions without a phone number. See
Getting started.
Test partner ID¶
MEGOGO does not have a separate test environment. Your test partner ID, your test keys and your test service IDs work on the production servers. Only your MEGOGO manager gives test credentials.
WARNING
Use only phone numbers of your test SIM cards in tests. A request with
a real number of another person makes a MEGOGO user for this person, and
subscribe gives this person the subscription.
IP addresses¶
MEGOGO accepts the requests only from the IP addresses of your servers.
- Give the list of the IPv4 addresses of your servers to your MEGOGO manager.
- Before the addresses of your servers change, send an e-mail to supportpartners@megogo.net. Write your partner ID and the new addresses.
CAUTION
A request from an IP address that is not in the list gets HTTP 401
Not Authorized. The response is the same as for a wrong signature. If
all requests get HTTP 401 after a change of your servers, make sure
that MEGOGO added the new addresses.
Response language¶
MEGOGO sets the language of the service names and descriptions in the responses for each partner ID. By default, it is the language of your region. To change it, ask your MEGOGO manager. The error messages are always in English.
Keep the credentials safe¶
WARNING
Keep the private key only on your servers. Do not put it in a client application, a repository, a log or an error message.
If an unauthorized person gets your private key, tell your MEGOGO manager immediately. MEGOGO gives you new credentials.
Limits¶
Each partner ID can send 1000 requests per minute. Above the limit, MEGOGO can return HTTP 429 Too Many Requests. To increase the limit, ask your MEGOGO manager.
